Individual HCL Sessions

Participants will take part in a variety of activities, partnering with the horses. Session activities may include grooming, leading, games, or herd observations. Sessions are always guided by the participant's comfort level. By exploring the ways in which horses behave and communicate, and recognizing their responses to that, participants will learn how their viewing the world and what changes might have positive effects.

Stable Strengths

A group program working on building life skills by learning the foundations of horsemanship including grooming, leading, cleaning and care of the horses.

Horsemanship

Focusing on mounted and unmounted equine skills, developing a bond with the horse, and learning technique in equine handling.

Family HCL Sessions

Following a similar description to the individual program, with a focus on strengthening their relationships. Key goals of the session include building trust, improving communication, fostering mutual respect, and more.

School Trips

Schools are invited to sign up a group of students to experience the horses, participate in activities, and learn skills geared toward communication and socialization. Programs are tailored to the teacher or school's goals.

Animal Assisted Therapy

Clients choose from a variety of farm animals—horses, rabbits, chickens, cats, and a goat—as partners in their healing journey. This program integrates mindfulness, movement, play, and art-based activities along with time in nature to help children build social-emotional skills, practice identifying and expressing emotions, improve communication, and develop healthy coping skills.
